1. General Agreement

By accessing the website at Teg Reptiles, you agree to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Age & Legal Compliance

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to submit an order enquiry for live reptiles or exotic venoms. By submitting a request, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are of legal age to possess the requested species or biomaterials in your jurisdiction.
  • You possess all necessary local, state, and federal permits required for the importation and keeping of such specimens.
  • You understand that venomous species and pure venom samples pose inherent, potentially fatal risks.

3. Enquiry and Order Process

Because of the nature of our business, submitting items via the "Cart" or "Checkout" constitutes an Order Enquiry, not a binding contract of sale. Teg Reptiles reserves the right to:

  • Refuse service to anyone if we suspect a lack of proper permits, experience, or for ethical reasons.
  • Adjust pricing based on specific genetic traits, shipping logistics, and CITES permitting costs.
  • Cancel or pause any enquiry due to the health, shedding cycles, or breeding status of live animals.

4. CITES and Export Restrictions

Many of the specimens listed on Teg Reptiles fall under CITES Appendices I, II, or III. We operate in strict compliance with international wildlife trade laws. International shipping will require proper documentation, which may take several weeks to months to process. The buyer is responsible for knowing the import laws of their respective country.

5. Live Arrival and Health Guarantee

For approved purchases, we guarantee live, healthy arrival provided that the shipping carrier delivers the package on time and the package is received and signed for on the first delivery attempt. Detailed health guarantees will be provided alongside your final invoice.

6. Venom Use and Liability

All venoms supplied by Teg Reptiles are sold exclusively for in-vitro research purposes. Under no circumstances are they intended for human or animal consumption, in-vivo diagnostics, or unauthorized clinical trials. Teg Reptiles assumes zero liability for the mishandling, accidental envenomation, or misuse of supplied biological compounds.
